 abstract={The concept of energy transformation resulting from the European Green Deal is based not only on the transformation of the energy sector, but also implies a change in the way the economy and, consequently, the society functions. This, in turn, requires the active involvement of public authorities of the central level as well as local authorities, closest to the citizen. Therefore, the aim of this article is to present the latest legal regulations in Germany aimed at the involvement of local self-government in the support system for energy from renewable sources.},
