 abstract={The purpose of the present article is to discuss evolutionary solutions regarding e-deliveries in cross-border cases based on Regulation of the Parliament and of the Council No. 1393/2007 regarding service of procedural documents of court and extralegal documents within civil and commercial cases (service of procedural documents) in Member States and repealing Regulations of the Council (EC) No. 1348/2000 and No. 2020/1784 of the Parliament and of the Council of 25 November 2020 regarding service of procedural documents of court and extralegal documents within civil and commercial cases in Member States (“service of procedural documents”). The reason to move forward with the notion was the adoption of Regulation 2020/1784 on 25 November 2020 and introduction of a direct regulation regarding e-deliveries within relations among EU Member States. The present article claims that current experiences of Member States could cause that the new solutions regarding e-deliveries will not be generally used in practice or their use will be significantly limited. The first part of the article discusses the matter of importance of e-deliveries in an economic, social and environmental context. The second part presents the evolution of e-deliveries in regard to European civil procedural law by comparing solutions based on the current Regulation 1393/2007 with the new Regulation 2020/1784. The second part contains a critical evaluation of solutions planned in the new regulation, and postulates de lege lata.},
