Faculty of Law, Administration & Economics}, language={eng}, abstract={The study of public administration in Poland and Germany is predicated on certain objective circumstances such as neighbourhood and EU accession but also by what these two facts determine together, namely a sense of communality in performing public tasks as part of a broad range of responsibilities resting with public administration bodies. Scholars who embark on a study of the structures and procedures employed and applied by the bodies of public administrations should allow for the perspective of the so called flexible ethnocentrism and such phenomena as the effect of attributive asymmetry and the conditions of effective contact. They must not fail to appreciate the fact that a comparative study of the organisation and functioning of public administration presents an interdisciplinary academic challenge. Therefore all research requires a multidiscipline perspective of social science and the understanding of the magnitude of constant transformations triggered by the changing environments of the two public administration systems.}, title={The Area and Aspects of Polish and German Studies on Public Administration}, type={text}, keywords={academic research, public administration, administrative law, Poland, Germany}, }
