 abstract={An AntiSense Oligonucleotides (ASO) technology is widely applied in gene function analysis in animals as weil as in plants. The idea of this method is based on using a short synthetic nucleic acid sequences that are complementary to the specific mRNA fragment. The mechanism of ASO action is yet to be fully understood however the ASO action results in modifying gene expression. ASOs application in various plant biology studies have been reported mainly to estimate gene function, for example seedlings to overexpressed CsHA2, gene encoding one of the main isoform of plasma membrane H+-ATPase.},
