 abstract={The aim of the article is to present the current state of the space law and to consider possible ways of its development. It covers issues such as actual and future challenges resulting from lack of legal regulations. Lawyers, states, and international organizations are currently facing new tasks. There is recognition of the need to amend the international space law and for this reason there is a need to determine whether space law should be liberalized or stabilized. Based on analysis of the most important ideas of the liberal trend, the possible shape of the new regulations is described. The work is complete with a summary and conclusions regarding the further development of international space law.},
