 abstract={The aim of this paper is to analyze the regulations concerning the use of video surveillance in a workplace, introduced into Polish legal system as a result of personal data protection law reform. The author explains the concept and types of video surveillance, indicates and discusses legal grounds for introducing particular forms of monitoring by an employer, formulates their admissibility requirements and describes obligations of an employer. The author’s reflections are based on the analysis of labour law and personal data protection law provisions, as well as the views expressed by scholars, jurisprudence, regulatory bodies and international organizations.},
