 abstract={The purpose of this article is to present the most characteristic positions of representatives of the doctrine (both representing the common law system and continental law system) whether, and if so, how to regulate legal status of robots, which might inspire a further discussion in the matter. The reason to start a discussion regarding this topic was a resolution of the European Parliament of 16.2.2017, which included a recommendation of the Commission regarding civil law regulations connected with robotics (2015/2103(INL)).},
