Infamia is a precise concept. It arose as a result of disreputable lifestyle or resulted from either criminal or civil proceedings due to actiones famosae. Infamia was lifelong. By contrast, turpitudo is infamia in its non-legal, concrete form. It was not a result of legal requirements – rather, it arose from negative public reputation, which in turn can be dubious, and even unjust. The author accepts the view that turpitudo is a less precise form of infamy.}, title={Uwagi na temat turpitudo w prawie rzymskim}, type={tekst}, keywords={turpitudo, infamia, ignominia}, }
