 abstract={The study indicates administrative entities which are competent in the scope of removing dead animals, with particular emphasis on activities related to stray animals and wild animals. The article includes provisions regarding the procedure itself and the systemic position of the competent authorities, as well as their tasks and competences at the administrative and legal level. The paper analyses particularly significant problems in the light of the provisions regulating the ownership rights of movable property and in relation to events occurring in private property. Moreover, it includes the case analysis related to the obligation to remove dead wild animals from private property.},
