In my considerations I explain what the term classical Indian dance stands for and what is its history. It is crucial to emphasise the oral tradition and the method of knowledge transfer. I wonder if this teaching model might be applied in the modern world, what are its advantages and disadvantages and if foreign dancers might follow this kind of path}, title={Gurukula - nauka w domu guru : o dawnej i współczesnej relacji mistrz - uczeń w nauce klasycznego (i nie tylko) tańca indyjskiego}, keywords={gurukula, Natasastra, guru, dance, India}, }
