But we can also say that Jászi and his movement’s character is not the same as todays populist movement’s character. Thus, we should create, and that’s my main suggestion, a new concept of the Central-Easter-European progressive populism: they are that kind of movements, which want to modernize their societies, based on endogenous development and inside factors and somehow they want to extend the representation of the people.
