 abstract={The study analyzes the rules for storing firearms by natural persons with a firearms permit. The considerations include changing regulations regarding the conditions that must be met by technical devices for storing firearms, in light of current socio-political events and current threats related to making weapons available to unauthorized persons or improper handling of weapons. It presents the role of Polish Standards, which are gaining increased attention from the legislator in the process of formulating the rules for the proper storage of firearms. The problem of safe storage of firearms has been limited in the study to the conditions that must be met by natural persons storing weapons in their households.},
