Additionally, the text refers to the ideological basis of decisions made by corporate structures that use popular public debate topics in a given time frame to improve their image and attract potential clients. To illustrate the problems concerning the role of large economic entities in our lives, as well as the ineffectiveness of lawmakers and legal bodies in combating ideologically and morally questionable actions of corporate giants, the author devotes attention to the issue of the right to repair purchased goods. By doing so, the article separates a small sample that supports the presented thesis. The article attempts to answer the question of whether a real threat can be observed as a result of the role played by the largest corporations in our daily lives. It also reflects on the ubiquity of corporate narratives in everyday life and the effectiveness of the structures of the European Union and its member states in countering the corporate agenda. The article focuses on the analysis of source texts, legal acts, and lectures given by scholars in the field of politics. It also compares them with current events and publications dedicated to the same topics. The strong economic position of international corporations allows them, under certain conditions, to create a social narrative that results in increased demand for the products or services offered by the company. Adapting their promotional campaigns to the expectations of potential consumers allows for the creation of an ideologically conflicting relationship between consumer and producer. Corporations try to use their popularity to position themselves as the "voice of authority" that, depending on the popular topic at the moment, takes the side of the446right solution or morally just decision. Such practices are meant to lead to the creation of a narrative that helps in capital allocation, increasing revenues and consumer interest. By using their position, companies like Apple or Samsung allow themselves to engage in anti-consumer practices such as planned obsolescence or making repairs more difficult in order to maximize profits, after previously creating their position as the "only right" service provider for their own equipment. The structures of the European Union and its member states are not prepared to confront many of the wealthiest companies due to their economic position, capital, influence, and popularity among citizens of member states.}, type={text}, title={Zagrożenia płynące z korporacjonizmu na przykładzie ochrony praw konsumenta na rynku wewnętrznym Unii Europejskiej}, doi={https://doi.org/10.34616/150692}, keywords={corporationism, threats of big corpo, consumerism}, }
