 abstract={Writing expertise in the process of evaluating the value of awill is amulti-threaded issue. Therefore, this article highlights these issues and problems. For this purpose, an analysis of the files of criminal cases was performed, which mainly examined the approach of the adjudicating court to the analysis of handwritten and notarized wills. This sample is small – 10 criminal case files in Warsaw courts. However, the aim of this procedure was to some extent a preliminary, pilot test of the research potential – which has been confirmed. In the article, I formulate a number of doubts and pose questions that require scientific exploration in the future. The title issue is highly interdisciplinary, as it intertwines with the issues of civil law, criminal procedural law and forensic tactics.},
