 abstract={Author briefly presents biography of Sun Yat-sen and Chiang Kai-shek which allows to put them in historical context and to show importance of their actions in establishing modern China. Then author descibres Sun Yat-sen’s visions about state structure. He introduces concept of Sun’s „people power”, indicates important factors which are basis of democracy, demonstrates what does „fivepartite separation of powers” mean and emphasizes that Sun in the end of his life has turned his attention to single-party system. Thereafter author characterizes thought of Chiang Kai-shek, how he initially identified himself as a succesor of Sun Yat-sen, then his doubts about democracy and finally his way of admiring fascism (but it was more within the meaning of japanese fascism rather than european).},
