 abstract={The act that regulates consular privileges and immunities is the 1963 Vienna Convention on Consular Relations. This article will present and analyze selected consular privileges and immunities based on the mentioned convention, bilateral agreements, multilateral agreements and the literature on the subject. The following is an analysis of the catalog of consular immunities and privileges regulated by the Vienna Convention for their existence as common law norms. Accordingly, the purpose of the work is a detailed presentation of consular immunities and privileges. The work highlights the importance of customary law, which is in many cases the foundation of consular law. The principal idea, which is in fact the basis for considering the issues discussed is the validity and relevance of the norms of international law in the process of cooperation between nations.},
