Focusing on the analysis of the three components of educational process: a pupil, a teacher, and a method I briefly characterize Rousseau’s concept of education. My considerations are based on the uniqueness category being particularly distinguished in the description of the whole conception. I seek also links between modern thinking of education and foundations of the eighteenth-century project on education, and show duration of some utopian assumptions stated in Rousseau’s thoughts.
