Wydział Prawa, Administracji i Ekonomii Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego N2 - After The Second Polish Republic regained its independence, it inherited from the Partitioning Powers different systems of law, differing in their institutional and legal structures. This condition made it difficult to integrate the country and it caused a great deal of problems in the socio-economic area. This was also reflected in the field of religious law. The most important task of the reborn Polish state was, among other things, to define the legal status of churches and religious associations. This article presents work related to the regulation of the legal status of the Karaim Religious Association. The Karaites in The Second Polish Republic represented a small religious minority. Despite this, they managed, as a result of several years of consultations with the government, to enact the act in accordance with the article 115 of the March Constitution.
