 abstract={The aim of this article is the description of the culture within the world of Quenta Silmarillion and The Lord of the Rings at the background of orality-literacy continuum. The Author puts his thesis as for the fact that there is no mistakes concerning the oral culture and its permeation into the written one in J.R.R. Tolkien’s literary production. What is more, it can be said that Tolkien shows the complement of both those cultural forms, the combination of which is essential for the cultural continuity of the specific nation.},
