 abstract={The article presents the nature of notary act and the author explains the nature of notary service in Poland. The jurisdiction of notary’s services defines the possible activities that can be serviced by notarial offices in various countries and notary’s responsibility for the act, which is an official document. The notary act uses some presumptions which attribute the notary act with a special position in the juridical system.},
