 abstract={The aim of this article is reflection on metamorphoses of masculinity in the context of changing fatherhood. There were presented findings of the fatherhood's research realised by qualitative methodology and in-depth interviews carried out with mothers of small children (to 5 years of age). The article concerns on 1' fathering – practicy (and its determinants) in two forms – traditional and new and 2' mothers' expectations toward fathers. Further were noticed question if women are involved in process of transformation of fatherhood.},
